In November, McGregor was ordered to pay £ 206,000 in addition to damage to Nikita Hand, who accused her of raping her in a hotel in Dublin in 2018.
McGragger appealed on the grounds that his lawyers believed that the police should not have been put in front of the jury during the interview.
His barrister also argued that a question on the “numeral paper” given to the jury should have been made differently to help decide his decision.
Three senior judges in the appeal court in Dublin rejected the appeal on all grounds.
Connor McGregor was not in court for the verdict.
Nikita Hand attended the hearing with several supporters.
In relation to police interviews, the court found that McGregor’s lawyers did not prove that “the real risk of inappropriate lawsuits”.
During the original case, the jury heard that McGregor said “no comment” about 100 times when the police interviewed.

But the appeal judges said that it was “just untrue” to suggest that any member of the jury could be confused about the meaning of the question.

The appeal was based on several issues arising from Civil Trial in Dublin’s High Court last year.

McGregor’s legal appeal was also raising an issue about the judge’s charge of the jury during the civil test.
