Mark Tyssira, whose 14 -year -old MLB of MLB career began with Texas Rangers, on Thursday announced that he was running for the Congress in the 2026 mid -term elections.

Teixeira started her major league with Texas Rangers in the 2003 season. In his four full sessions at Arlington, Teixeira created an all-star game and earned two gold glove prizes for his defensive skills on the first basis. He was traded at Atlanta Braves in 2007, where he played parts of two sessions.
After a short term with Los Angeles Angels, Teixeira signed with New York Yankis in 2009. He played the last 8 years of his career at Bronx, including a world series title, two and all-star games and three more Gold Glove Awards.

Teixeira returned to Texas in 2021, according to her campaign, and lives in Central Texas with her wife and three children.
