In this year’s competition, after stopping in dozens of aggressive species, a woman from Florida has been crowned the winner of the state’s annual Python Challenge.
According to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Taylor Stanberry was ranked first after provoking 60 snakes during the 10-day competition during the 10-day competition at Everglads.

This year’s competition accepted the challenge in the South Florida swamp with over 900 participants in a record 294 invasive Burmese dragon, the entire United States and Canada.

Stanberry is the first woman to earn the first place in the competition, while breaking the previous record for most snakes caught since began in 2013, FWC confirmed Fox News Digital. She also works as a contract hunter for the state.
“I am honored for that title,” said Stanberry. “Not only because I work hard daily to save Evergles and native species that call Evergelds home, but also because there are tones of other hard -working predators – many of them are amazing female contractors.”

The competition invites novice and professional snake catchers for Evergle’s Everglades in an attempt to cut the state’s wildlife damage to wildlife. Participants need to trap each snake and kill humanly.
