Air passengers have faced significant disruption after bringing the airports in the air traffic control outage to a standstill.
The technical problem lasted only 20 minutes, but a large backlog of flights and delays.
Thousands of aircraft were placed on the ground at airports including Heathro, Stanstad, Manchester and Edinburgh. More than 150 flights from the UK and the UK were canceled, 22:00 as BST.
