Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and MLC Kalvakantla Kavitha on Thursday disappointed recent developments at Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (TBGKEX), which was as a trade union of coal activists associated with BRS in Singarni Coloria, which was honored as honors.
On Wednesday, BRS held a TBGK meeting at Telangana Bhavan and replaced Kavita with former minister Kupula Ashwar. In protest, many supporters of Kavith resigned from their positions in the Sangh.
On Thursday, in an open letter for the employees of Singareni Collaries, Kavita, who is currently in the US on a personal journey, recalled his long term as an honorary president of TBGKS, saying that it was a privilege to serve workers and their families as a sister. While he congratulated Ashwar, he criticized the election for being politically motivated and operated in violation of labor laws.
Kavita alleged that after the Congress came to power in Telangana, some of her party leaders started plotting against her. “Although such conspiracies do not cause any personal loss, but their clear intention is to remove me and weaken the unity of the workers who are working for their welfare,” he said.
He said that her father, former Chief Minister and BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao had leaked her letter while she was in America. “… When I was still abroad, against labor laws, a so -called TBGKS Central Committee meeting was held and it was announced that a new honorary president was elected,” he said, claiming that many obstacles were being created for him.
However, Kavith assured the workers that she would remain a member of every worker’s family. He said, “I will always stand with you. I will keep fighting for your welfare, as I have done in the last decade.”
