Firefighters are dealing with a blast at a historic former hotel at Dritwich Spa.
Flames have been seen over the Reven Hotel at St. Andrews Street on Sunday.
Hearford and Warsesterresire Fire and Rescue Service stated that six fire devices were sent to the scene with “other expert vehicles”.
This advised people to be clear about the area and advise them to close all the windows and doors living nearby.
On social media, Richard Morris, leader of the Vyachwon District Council, said: “This is very sad. It is the history of our city, 1452.”
Councilor Neil Franks said: “I am completely frightened to see our Reven Hotel burning.”
In March, the council said that emergency repair work was almost complete to prevent the collapse of the former hotel at the Droitwich Spa.
