Hundreds of people have attended the funeral of a teenager who were killed in a river.
14 -year -old Niskay Patel, on the evening of 3 July, was swimming with friends in the Wavani River in Becklace Quay.
The family, in the BECCLEs, came together at the family, friends and fellow students of Sir John Lemon High School, where the students of one year 9, came together at Wavani Memorial Park, who paid their honors to a very loving boy.
A tribute to his parents, Ketan and Peptiben Patel, said: “He touched our lives with his unwavering mercy, gentle knowledge and immense love.”
A private Hindu ceremony took place on Saturday morning, followed by a memories and then in his funeral, all participated to pay their final honors.
Patel Family, who owns a news in the BECCLEs, said Facebook tribute: “This disadvantage is unimaginable, and as we mourn, we keep the love of our friends, family and customers closer.”
Flowers and tributes were left in the BECCLES Quay and outside the family shop.
An online fund established by two women who know Niskay and her family have raised around £ 14,000 till date.
Terry Bird and Laila Eles appealed to her family to help cover the cost of any lost income and funeral, the rest was being used on life -guarding equipment in the revision – and a monument bench.
Richard Crosear, a former teacher at the Notre Dame High School in Norwich and the owner of a shop adjacent to the family shop, said: “It was immediately clear that Niskay had a feeling, a type of vitality, which is very rare in a young child.
“He and his brother acted as a team, replacing the students’ minds and attitude in the most subtle way.
“He was magical in his ability to communicate. A notable, notable boy.”
He said that the popularity of Niskay was clear in the number of youth who attended his funeral.
“He was a real leader of people,” Mr. Crowsier said, “And, I am absolutely confident, quite national person.”
