Fifteen people have been injured as a double-dekar bus tore his roof after killing a bridge.
The Greater Manchester Police said that the vehicle crashed at about 15:00 BST at Eclass, Barton Road and Trafford Road in Sailford.
The North West Ambulance Service said that 15 people were treated at the scene and then rushed to the hospital after the accident.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TFGM) said that there was bus 100 service at the time of the accident.
A large number of paramedics, including an air ambulance, are on the spot. There is a place of road closure, in which the police recommend people to escape from the area.
The North West Ambulance Service said that it had sent 10 emergency ambulances, its dangerous response team and colleagues of the North West Air Ambulance, with the first team to 15.10.
“NWAS treated 15 patients, which were taken to all Salaford Royal or Manchester Royal Informary Hospitals,” said this.
A TFGM spokesperson said it had received a “report of a double decker bus, which was hitting a bridge on Barton Road”.
“There was just a 100 service and in operations at the time of the collision,” he said.
“Our complete priority is right now emergency response and supporting people who were on board.”
