A federal judge ruled on Friday that the Trump administration could not cut 34 cities and counties in response to the so -called “sanctuary” policies that limit cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.
American District Judge William Orik, who issued a previous order protecting more than a dozen other cities and counties, extended an initial prohibitory verification, which prevented the administration from drawing federal funds or conditioning the use of funds for local courts.
The judge also stopped the administration from placing conditions related to immigration on two grant programs.
Orik said that the only opposition from the administration for an extended prohibition was claiming that the first order was wrong as it appealed to give the first order.

The administration has increased pressure on the sanctuary courts under the collective exile of President Donald Trump.
Trump issued an executive order to withdraw federal funds from the sanctuary communities for the Department of Attorney General Palm Bandy and the Security Secretary of Homeland Christie NoM. The Associated Press reported that they also assigned the task of ensuring all the federal agencies that the state and local governments do not pay the “so -called ‘sanctuary’ policies, which try to mold illegal aliens from exile,” the Associated Press reported.

Many cities and counties sued the federal government, emphasized that billions of dollars of funding were threatened. The Department of Justice has also filed a lawsuit on several cities including New York and Los Angeles on sanctuary policies.
Orik stated that Trump’s order, and “executive functions have parked him, demonstrated” a “tremendous danger”, ruled unconstitutionally.
Earlier this year, DHS posted a list of more than 500 sanctuary courts, which the federal government had determined as non -eternalosh with the instructions of the administration, stating that they would formally notify.
