A lovely family of four was tragically killed when his aircraft went down to a ground while traveling home from his beach holiday.
Grace Christian Sanford School wrote in a post on Facebook, “It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passage of one of our crusader families.”
The statement continued, “Buchanan Family; Students Obre (5th Rising 5th) and Walker (4th Rising 4th), lived with God today with Travis and Candes.”
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed Fox News Digital that on Monday, July 7, a cirrus sr22 crashed in Sanford, North Carolina around 1:45 pm local time.

A spokesman for the North Carolina Highway Petrol told Fox News Digital that four people were on the plane when the crashed.
The authorities later confirmed that day that all four persons had died on the board. The three victims were declared dead on the spot, while the fourth died in a local hospital.
The victims were identified as Travis Buchanan, 35, his wife, Candes Buchanan, 35, and their children, Obre, 10 and Walker, 9.
“During this incredibly difficult time, we stand together in support of their family and each other. We expand our love, prayer and deep sensations towards our family, friends, classmates, teachers and employees,” the school said. The school wrote, “We respect his memory with compassion and love.”

According to a post on the business Facebook page, the family owned Buchanan Farms.

According to FAA records, the aircraft is registered at Travis Buchanan, Sanford. It flew from Merit Island, Florida around 11 am on Monday and was last tracked near Sanford at around 1:30 am, which was based on data. Flight-tracking website flightwareSanford is located about 40 miles south -west from Raley.
A local restaurant also confirmed the passage of families, which presents condolences to the people affected by the tragedy.
A statement on Facebook at Los Charros Mexican Restaurant wrote, “It is with heavy hearts that we share this post about the passage of the Buchanan Farms family. Travis, his wife and children were more than customers for us, they were friends,” Los Charros Mexican Restaurant wrote in a statement on Facebook.

They were actually a beacon of light in our community that he did.”

The FAA and the National Transport Safety Board (NTSB) will lead the investigation, both agencies are expected to reach the accident site on Tuesday.
A NTSB spokesperson told Fox News Digital that “it is very early in investigation and not much information is available at this time.”
