BBC News, Bristol
After the EVRR parcel was dumped in the early morning, the inhabitants have voiced their concerns.
Some customers waited for their delivery in the Bradley Stoke area of Bristol on Saturday, admitted that they would not find their packages that day, only to receive a notification in the middle of the night saying that they had come.
A post shared on social media showed more than a dozen parcels, which was left on the pavement outside a house at around 01:00 BST on Sunday morning.
An EVRI spokesperson said “immediate steps” were taken to address the issue, and the “courier in questions” was no longer giving to the company.
64 -year -old Nigel Thomas told the BBC that he and his wife were waiting for delivery due to arrival on Saturday morning, but did not receive a notice until BST on Sunday 01:35.
He said, “The picture sent to us was shown in the bushes, but when my wife and I walked around the entire road in search of this special bush, we could not find it,” he said.
“I thought I would take another look and I really found it buried in the bushes, not where the picture said.”
‘Lots of delivery’
The BBC understands that the general EVRI courier of the region, which Mr. Thomas described “very good”, is currently away and did not deliver delivery in the question.
Talking with other delivery drivers in the area, Mr. Thomas said he had heard: “He has received a lot of delivery to do it.”
He said, “He probably got a lot to do.”
A spokesman for the EVRI told the BBC: “Every parcel matters to us and we are sorry for the customers affected by this service that does not reflect our normal high level of service in the area.”
Concerned customers, he said, can contact the company’s customer service team.
