Aston Villa has agreed to signing a Nice Striker Ivan Exted for £ 26m Plus £ 4.3m in Ad-on.
24 -year -old Ivory Coast Forward scored 12 goals in the previous term and was named Player of the season, as Nice finished fourth in Lig 1, France.
He is expected to get medical in Villa on Wednesday.
Gesand, which was a goal for Crystal Palace, would be the Villa’s first major signature of summer. He follows Yasin Ozacan, who joined Kasimpasa, but he has been lended to Anderlech, and back-up goalkeeper Marco Bijot who arrived for an unknown fee from the breast.
Villas have been looking at the striker options since the January departure for the al-Nasar of Saudi Arabia from the January hut, leaving them only as their only senior center-forward with Oli Watkins. Marcus Rashford spent the second part of the season on a loan in Villa but joined Barcelona.
Gesand made his way in NIS through the youth rank and signed a four -year contract in the last summer.
He made his debut for Ivory Coast in June 2024 and has nine caps.
