England’s issues seemed steep from the wholesale midfield as Georgia Stanway and Walsh were finished and their opponents were destructive on the break.
Wiegman accepted the slope in the occupation played in the hands of France as he worked hard and took advantage of personal errors.
Captain Lia Williamson was completely disappointed and described the errors as “some cheap emotional defense”.
France Winger Sandy Baltimore won his personal battle with his Chelsey team partner Lucy Bronze – England defender lost six couples, the highest by any player.
And until Walsh’s 87th minute strike, the lioness did not achieve a shot on the target.
“I think we played as if we were a little scared,” said Carter.
“Perhaps we were not enough aggressive, maybe we were worrying about their dangers in the back and what they can do instead of what we can do.
“We didn’t even do it on the ball, or even out of the ball. The only positive to pick up is the last 10 minutes. I really believed that we would get A [second] Target.”
England’s level seemed to surprise the French media, who wrote a large-scale opportunities when the major center-back grid MBock was rejected through injury.
French journalist Julian Laurence told BBC Radio 5 Live, “I did not think that French could already play at this stage and I did not think England could be so disappointing as they were for an hour.”
French manager Laurent Bonadei accepted England’s explosive start, which saw Lauren James surprised him. But he realized that his side controlled action and “physically it was not easy for England”.
James’s clear -free role certainly looked exciting in the beginning – but did it highlight its side in midfield?
The Vigman’s response to that question was vigorously.
,[James] There was no total free role. We were exposed by losing the balls in moments where we did not want to lose the ball, “he said.” This was the main subject for which we wanted to find a solution. ,
After the introduction of Cloe Kelly, Grace Clinton and Mitchell Egimang, the lioness responded, but was too late to change the result, and former midfielder Karen Carney was away from the affected.
“It was not quite good. We were all tight on the pitch. We did not win enough couple. We have never played together,” she told ITV.
“This is our trophy and it was not quite good. We used to play a little in their hands.”
