Arsenal has fulfilled the signature of England Forward Aborchi Aze from Crystal Palace.
Gunners agreed to the 27 -year -old to sign a deal of £ 60m, including £ 8m, including £ 8m, to sign his seventh summer.
This summer was one of the major goals of Tottenham in this summer and the spurs agreed to the conditions with both palace and Az.
But the spurs rivals in North London took a step for Azay on Wednesday and a fan of boyhood chose Gunners to start his young career with the club.
Az, who will wear number 10 shirt, was introduced to supporters before the Premier League match against Leeds United on Saturday.
Sporting director Andrea Barta described Aze as “creative and explosive talent” with huge technical quality.
Manager Mikel Artetta said: “He is a powerful and exciting player who will give us a new dimension in his attacker game. As a player, his talent and intelligence stands out as only as he has worked hard during his career, where he is today.
“His journey, his mentality, and his ambitions really we want in our team, and we love how much it means to join our club for him and his family.”
Aze, who grew up in Greenwich, South-East London, started his senior career with QPR after leaving the arsenal before moving to £ 19.5m in 2020.
In June 2023, he earned his first England cap and five months later he signed a contract expansion with Palace by 2027.
Aze scored 40 goals in 169 matches for the Palace and claimed 14 goals and 11 assistance in all competitions last season, including the only goal in the FA Cup final.
He started Eagles’s Premier League opener in Chelsea last week, but missed Thursday’s Europa conference play-off as he was unwell.
