A former conservative MP has been given a community order and fine to harass his ex -wife.
Jamie Walis, now known as Katie Walis and uses female pronouns, represents bridges from 2019 to 2024.
In an earlier hearing, a 41 -year -old man from Butown in Cardiff refused to harass Rebecca Wallis between 14 February to 21 March, now known as Rebecca Laval.
Walis was sentenced to a 12 -month -old community order which included a 12 -day rehabilitation activity and fined more than £ 500 £ 650 and a fine of £ 114.
A preventive order was also applied for 12 months to prevent contact with Rebecca Lavel.
The former MP made unwanted phone calls, sent unwanted messages and a voice note.
The Cardiff Magistrate Court heard that Rebecca was a derogatory language in messages trying to get “Pisces” and get details about its new relationship.
One message complained about access to Walis’s family, the other demanded £ 350,000 within 15 minutes and wished to ensure that Walis’s ex -wife and other “never a happy moment again”.
Walis, who was the first MP to openly start the process of gender infection, told the first court: “My name is Ketti Walis, but my legal name is Jamie Walis”.
District Judge RHYS Williams asked Walis’s barrister how he should address the defendant.
While defending, Narita deaf Casey told the court that Walis was identified, “His dead name is Jamie. His current name is Ketti”.
Walis and the victims were in a relationship for more than 15 years and separated in 2020, finalizing their divorce in 2024.
In an individual influence statement, Rebecca Lavel said that messages “left drowning in a chaos, which was not to make my own” and worried that Walis would turn to her house.
She said that if she was real threats of suicide, she was thinking.
“I torture myself whether I deserve Vile Slars,” he said.
