Clayton Karshaw received his 3,000th strikeout and Freddy Freeman on Wednesday night raised Los Angeles Dojers over Chicago White Sox, singing the ninth innings of three runs by singing in Shohei Ohhhhin.
Kreshaw became the 20th pitcher to reach 3,000 when Winnie Capra took a slider for the third strike for the final from the sixth innings.
Los Angeles launched 4–2 and did not score since the second innings when Michael Conforto sang and Tommy Adman and Hysong Kim walked the back-to-back from Grant Taylor (0–1) to open the ninth. Ohtani hit a run-scoring forceout, Muki Bates tied the score with a sacrifice fly to Steven Wilson and the Freeman sang fast to the right.
Los Angeles won 17 matches for the 14th time and won their seventh straight series.
Andrew Benntendy had two-out RBI single. Will Smith placed the score in the lower half against Sean Burke with his 11th Homer and Andy Pages in second place with his 17th homer.
Austin Slater hit a two-run homer for a 3–2 lead in the third and Edgar Quero added an RBI single.
Dozers third Basman Max Munsi got Michael A. in the sixth. He was injured while tagging Taylor. Taylor was caught stealing as Catcher Will Smith threw Munsi, who tagged Taylor for another with an innings. Munsi spread on her back as a dujor athletic trainer, who went out to examine her. The team said that it had given up knee pain. A white sox trainer also checked on Taylor, who retained a left left trapezius in his back.
Karshaw threw a season-high 100 pitches, with four runs and nine hits in six innings. He killed Miguel class in third and Lenin Sosa in fifth.
White Sox RHP Aaron Sivale (1-4, 4.74 ERA) began the end of the series on Thursday. Dozers RHP Dustin May (4-5, 4.68) faced Chicago for the first time in his career.
