The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has initiated an investigation into the California Environment Protection Agency (CALEPA) on allegations of racial equity-based hiring practices.
In a letter dated Wednesday, the DOJ informed the State Environment Agency about an inquiry whether it is “attached to a pattern or practice of discrimination based on breed, color, sex and national origin in violation of the title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.”
