Arizona Diamondback activated outfielder Corbin Carol from the 10-day injured list before Saturday’s game against Canasus City Royals.
Carroll, with a chip fracture in his left wrist from June 18, returned to his customary leadoff spot and was starting in the right region against Royals. He was injured when he collided with a pitch thrown by Justin Bruhal of Toronto.
Carol said before Saturday’s game that his wrist felt better for the last few days, and he played in a minor game in the Arizona Complex League on Friday.
The 2023 National League Ruki of the Year has 20 domestic runs, a major league-Agni nine triple and a .255 batting average this season. To make a place for Carol on the roster, Diamondback gave Utilityman Tim Tava the option of Triple-e Reno.
