Rudrapur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed the Uttarakhand Investment Summit 2025 in Rudrapur on Saturday. Addressing a major gathering, Home Minister Amit Shah praised the efforts of the Pushkar Singh Dhami-Left and assured full support from the central government in promoting the spiritual and strategic development of the state. Shah also emphasized the importance of North Block Prime Minister Narendra Modi in terms of “developed India till 2047”. He said, “A developed Uttarakhand is essential for a developed India”.While reflecting his previous conversation with CM Dhami, Shah said that the real challenge was translating mouses into reality. He expressed satisfaction that Team Dhami has not only started that process, but also made more than 81,000 direct and 2.5 lakh indirect jobs.Shah highlighted the successful model of development with Uttarakhand’s environmental protection. He focused the government’s transparent policies, rapid implementation and balanced focus on Tier -2 and Tier -3 cities.Pointing to national progress under Modi’s leadership, Shah noted India’s jump for the 11th largest global economy, with the 3rd position by 2027. He credited major welfare schemes like free food grains, medical insurance and housing to get 25 crore people out of poverty.Reiterating the Center’s commitment, Shah said that Uttarakhand has received Rs 1.86 lakh crore in central assistance since 2014, which is four times more than before. He appreciated the initiatives of the state such as All-Vedar Road, Ropeways to Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib, and policies promoting tourism, startups and Ayurveda.
