Jeffrey Epstein’s prolonged Associate Gisline Maxwell has been meeting officials of the Department of Justice as the pressure on the Trump administration increases to issue files related to the infamous financial sex trafficking networks.
The meeting will be held in Talhasi, Florida, where Maxwell is serving a 20 -year sentence for sex trafficking, report of BBC American partner CBS News.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanches said that he had planned to talk about any information from Maxwell, which was on other people, with whom Epstein could help in sexually abuse girls.
Maxwell’s lawyer told the BBC that she was “looking forward for her meeting”, which could help determine if she would testify to the Congress.
The latest developments come because the interest is back to the 63-year-old Ghwislin Maxwell, who is a guilty sex-trophic in the prison to help Epstein’s misuse young girls.
Calls from the public have increased – in which MPs for President Donald Trump’s loyal supporters – and MPs for the Department of Justice have included files related to Epstein case.
Blanche wrote in a post on X earlier this week, “If Gisline Maxwell knows about anyone committing crimes against the victims, the FBI and DOJ will hear what he has to say.”
On Wednesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that Attorney General Palm Bondi informed Trump during a May 1 briefing that his name appeared in DOJ documents related to Epstein case.
The White House has rejected the story as “fake news”.
Nominated in documents is not a proof of any criminal activity, nor has Trump accused of doing wrongdoing in relation to Epstein case.
While campaigning for the Presidency last year, Trump promised to release such files about well -associated sexual criminals.
But his supporters have been disappointed with handling the issue since then, including Epstein’s failure to give a “customer list”. In a memorandum earlier this month, the Department of Justice and FBI said that there was no such list.
Epstein died in a Sale in New York Jail in 2019, while a minor was waiting to prosecute allegations of sex smuggling after the earlier sentence for prostitution. His death occurred a suicide.
Since, the principles of conspiracy have been spread about the nature of their crimes and their death.
On Wednesday, a sub-committee of the US House of Representatives voted for the files to vote for the Department of Justice, which should be signed by the chairman of the committee.
The Republican of the House Oversite Committee has also submitted Maxwell to the panel from jail on August 11 to testify.
House speaker Mike Johnson warned that Maxwell – who over the years helped girls with Epstein groom and sexual abused – cannot be trusted to provide accurate testimony.
His lawyer, David Oscar Marcus, told the BBC that concerns were “baseless” and if she chooses to testify, instead of implementing her constitutional right to remain silent, she would test the truth, as she always said “.
Last week, the Department of Justice asked a federal judge to release the year -old Grand Jury testimony related to the 2006 Florida investigation into Epstein, but on Wednesday a federal judge in the state refused to make the documents public.
