President Donald Trump’s grip on the police force of Washington DC continued in a second week, the Democrats asked to meet the demands to become a state of the district.
Trump called for a provision of the Home Rule Act last week, the law that gives some autonomy to the country’s capital from the Congress to effectively handle the metropolitan police department in an attempt to tighten the crime.
Since then, many federal law enforcement agencies and national guards have patrolled the streets of DC, aided by stores of states across the country, and the White House has rapidly reduced crime and dozens of arrests.

Because it is not a state, Washington has no voting representation in the Congress and is maintained by the Congress, despite being the mayor and the city council.
But some MPs looked at the move as another attempt by the President to eliminate their powers, and argued that this is another reason that DC should be a state – an assumption that Trump reprimanded as “ridiculous” last week.
The district’s shadow senator Sen Paul Strauss told Fox News Digital, “If DC was a state, what the President is doing outside the federal enclave, he could not have done it.”
Strauss, DDC, has long been pushed to the state in his role as an elected non-poll member of the Senate of Washington DC. He said that the entire idea behind the state is to give agency and self -determination to the DC residents, something that he believed was ignoring the rift.
“It would be one thing if we really had a crime emergency, but we don’t,” Strauss said. “Especially violent crime is down to 30 years of climb. It’s not what is happening here. He is using these national guards and women as a stunt, and it is wrong.”

His colleague in the House, DC Non-Voting Dell. Allenor Holmes Norton, a Democrat, agreed.
He said, “The President’s abuses are evidence of immediate need for the DC state so that more than 700,000 DC residents can eventually get full rights and privileges to other Americans, including control of their own local resources and policies,” he told Fox News Digital in a statement.
White House spokesman Taylor Rogers said violent crime in the district is “out of control – and Democrats are lying to American people when they show that there is no crime in our country’s capital.”
“If they require some real evidence, they could ask their own Democrat colleague about the time when they were caused by three armed criminals outside their DC apartments,” she told Fox News Digital. “The case of the Democrat of Trump Derange syndrome is so serious, they will not even support President Trump’s Commonance Policies to remove dangerous criminals from the streets of our nation’s capital.”
Strauss and Norton were involved by MPs from neighboring Virginia and Maryland, stating that Washington, DC, had been excluded for over two centuries, who argued that steps to make Tram’s local police federal “DC’s immediate needs.”
Sen Tim CinD-W., told Fox News Digital that the police acquisition was “a major example of why DC states are entitled to equal rights.”
Sen Chris Van Hollen, D-MD., “Republican in Congress is all set to play political games with the district’s funding for public safety and important services by supporting an authoritative overruch by a lawless president.”
Van Holen announced plans to resume a bill with Norton to give DC to DC earlier this month.

Ruskin told Fox News Digital in a statement that the residents of the district are the only people who live in a capital city on earth who disintegrate in their national legislature. “
He said, “The people of Washington have filed a petition for the state and should be recruited as a state rather than behaving as a Maga-Opported population,” he said.

But in fact the reality of converting DC into a state, at least while Republican has a trifacta in Washington, is best.
“I think there is probably no route to do so, while the Republican government controls all three branches,” Strauss said. “Because they have shown that they are more interested in the partial effect of controlling the legislative branch and are not really interested in the theory of self -determination for Washington, DC, residents.”
