Tension boiled at Texas Capital on Thursday night, when a democratic Congress candidate was forcibly removed and arrested during an unstable redistribution hearing.
Isaiah Martin, running to Houston’s 18th Congress district, repeatedly warned to prevent the Republican from speaking after the Republican was accused of rigging the revision process to appeal to President Donald Trump.
The hearing footage shows Martin collapsing as he was pulled from the room by the authorities.
“History will not miss you what you have done! It’s a matter of shame!” He shouted, indicated to panting audible from the crowd. He was accused of arrest, opposing criminal trespass and disrupting a public meeting.

Martin released On Friday, and all the allegations were removed from Travis County Jail. He later posted a video on X and thanked the supporters and promised to continue speaking out.
Martin started his testimony on Thursday by challenging the validity of the hearing.
“It just feels as many people are going only with their movements, and it makes sense because the game is rigged,” he said.
He then accused Texas Republican of Germandering at Trump’s request.
“You will get the support of Trump. It is nowadays the name of the game to be a Republican,” Martin said. “Trump told each of you that he needs five seats. … But the real conversation that we should … is that there will be retaliation for this.”
Martin cited Blue States, claiming that the map was being rebuilt in response.
“Gove Kathy Hochar said he would take out the Republican,” he said. “The same thing is going to happen in New Jersey.”
Martin also attacked Texas’s leadership on economic issues.
“We live in a state that is ineffective … property tax is going up … despite the fact that you have been in the office for about 30 years,” he said.

Criticizing the time of the revival process, he said, “One of the worst casualties in our state’s history, one of the events, you choose to go out of your seats.”
Rape. Kodi Vasut, Chairman of the House Redhistricting Committee, tried to obtain the order, but Martin refused to yield.
“No, I am not going to end. Because I … I’m not finished!”
Martin then gestured to Trump.
He said, “You can thank your unsuccessful, senil, dilapidated, Epstein-part for all the work we are going to do for each of you,” he said. “You did this, you caused it and this is the result of you and your work.”
Vasut directed the State House Sergeant to remove Martin. As Martin was dragged from the room, the members of the audience shouted, “Get away from him!”
Martin kept shouting, “America will rise against you!”
The committee resumed without commenting on dissolution.

Abbott has described the earlier redistribution attempt as a compliance step after the court’s decision against the coalition districts.
