Two hundred forty -five years ago, 56 people met at the Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia to treason against the most powerful empire on Earth.
Representing the 13 colonies of that empire, these people became enlightened with a new set of ideas, entrepreneurs, politicians, politicians and others – with a new set of enlightenment thinkers and Christian teaching ideas. Those beliefs inspired him to start a war, which a sensible person believed that he could win.

This was a revolution against history. This was a revolution against the idea that some men (and women) are of higher value than others. It was a revolution for the idea of ​​dignity, human rights and equality before the law.

And when Jefferson presented his documents to the Congress, and 56 people signed it and sent it to King George and other rulers around the world, they ignited a war in the US colonies, which would become a warm war for a centuries to change the world from tyranny to freedom.

He got the war. Five signators were caught, tortured and killed. Nine died of wounds or difficulties fighting in war. All were affected – violence, their homes and property destroyed, their children insisted on the violence created by them. They remained hungry. He lost the fight.
He must have surprised whether it was worth it – these ideals had immersed him in violence to a nation. And then, unexpectedly, they won.
In creating America, those founding father re -shaped history. Now we live in a world that has about half of the countries democracy. The combination of political freedom, free markets and technological innovations provoked by those systems has excluded billions of people from poverty – the creation of a world more rich world than the world present at the time of declaration of freedom.
