According to local officials, a boating accident near Hilton Head Island in South Carolina claimed the lives of two people and two others were injured.
The Buft County Sheriff Office said in a statement on Facebook that the incident occurred on the evening of Friday, Friday 27 June when emergency employees responded to the report of a boating accident in the skull creek area.
“On arrival, the vessel was located on the board with four persons,” the officials said. “Two residents suffered injuries and were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. Sadly, the other two persons were found dead on the spot.”
