President Donald reached an agreement with the administration of President Donald Trump after the country’s capital federal officials sued the police force of the city.
The decision came on Friday afternoon when the Trump administration nominated DEA chief Terry Cole as the new emergency head of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
Finally, the two sides agreed to prevent Cole from playing the role, while effectively returning the department to Police Chief Pamela Smith. Coal is now required to pass through Mayor Muriel Boussar before directing MPD, but Bossar has still been made mandatory to follow the requests made by Cole.

Under the agreement, the Trump administration controls the police force.
Smith said in a court filing, “In about three my decades in law enforcement, I have never seen a single government action, which will pose more threat to law and order than this dangerous instructions.”
The demonstration of the court was provoked by the deployment of Trump’s federal officials within the Washington DC, the city was eventually asking for a temporary preventive order, which blocks an executive order aimed at handling the local police force.
In a revised order issued by the Department of Justice on Friday evening, Cole is called his official title under the DEA -Administrator Cole instead of the Interim Commissioner, which he was earlier recognized.

Yakov Roth, a lawyer of the Trump administration, argued in the court that the decision to remove Smith from his post was the result of an immigration order, which was neglected to provide financial assistance to the federal officials, while claiming the ability to determine what kind of assistance the MPD should provide, within the Authority.
American District Judge Ana Reyes, a biden appointment, had earlier indicated that the law does not allow Trump to roughly occupy the police force of the city, but believed that it could give him more strength than the city.
“The way I read the law, the President can ask, the Mayor will have to provide, but cannot control the contemporary,” Rayes said.

Schwalb and Department of Justice did not immediately respond to the request of Fox News Digital for comments.

Trump is the first President to use control over the police department of the capital as the Home Rule Act was signed in 1973, giving the city the ability to choose its city council and mayor. The law limits the control of a President to 30 days without the approval of the Congress, which Trump has indicated that he would like to expand.
