He started working for the police department last September, the agency said, and his pregnant wife and two children are left.

According to Atlanta police chief Darin Shierbam, the incident came to light before a person set fire to the CDC premises in front of the CDC campus. When the authorities responded at the place, they found Gulab seriously injured and heard an additional bullet bowler from a nearby CVS Pharmacy.
Authorities entered the pharmacy and located the shooter on the second floor with at least one gun pellet wound. Schierbaum said it was not clear whether the wound came from police bullets or if it was self-inspired.
“I want to appreciate men and women of law enforcement in the field,” Schierbaum said. “When this community needed them, no one left the danger. Every officer from many districts responded and immediately went to end this danger.”

He said in a statement, “A courageous local law enforcement officer gave his life, and another was injured when a gunman set fire to at least four CDC buildings,” he said in a statement. “Decalab County Police, CDC Security, and Amori University immediately responded and decisively responded, helping our employees and community to prevent further damage.”

Warneck said, “I am mourning the sad death of the officer who was killed in the line of duty today, and I am praying for the officer’s family and friends. Atlanta law enforcement saved countless lives, and we are grateful to his service,” said Warnaock.
