Foreign Secretary David Lami has said that he has been influenced and ill with the plight of citizens in Gaza, when the Israeli government rejected an international statement, which hurts that the victim has “reached the new depth”.
On Tuesday, Lemy told the BBC that Israel’s response was “extremely disappointing” and described the situation in Gaza as a “Grotka”.
It calls for an immediate end to the war after Britain and 27 other countries, and Israel accused of aid “drip feeding” for Gaza’s population.
This statement was issued after dozens of killed while waiting to use the supply in recent times – but Israel described it as “disconnected from reality” and said that it “sends the wrong message to Hamas”.
While many previous international statements have been made in Gaza to end the war, the most recent criticism of Israeli works was striking.
The statement said: “We condemn the drip feeding and inhuman killing of citizens including children, demanding to meet our most basic needs of water and food. It is terrible that more than 800 Palestinians have been killed seeking help.”
On Monday, Gaza’s Hamas-Interested Health Ministry said more than 100 Palestinians were killed by Israeli bullets while waiting for food over the weekend.
The Hamas-Interested Health Ministry said that in the last 48 hours, 33 people, including 12 children, have died as a result of malnutrition.
The total number of deaths due to malnutrition is 101, of which 80 are children, since the onset of the war in 2023, he said.
Lammy told the BBC breakfast: “When you see innocent children holding their hands for food and you see them shooting and killing … Of course Britain will have to call it out.”
He continued: “These are not words that are usually used by a Foreign Secretary who are trying to be diplomat.”
Asked if he was formed war crimes, Lemy said that it was a determination for lawyers in the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice.
He said: “To be honest, it has gone beyond lawyers, I want this war to end. British people watch horrific on their TV screen and believe that it should be war and end it.
“They are very angry with the children suffering in the way we are seeing.”
Government suspended 30 of 350 arms export licenses In 2024, equipment covering Israel that can use “aggressive”.
It was pressurized whether the minister could further ban the sales of arms, Lemy said he was satisfied that he had already suspended the transfer of weapons that could be used in Gaza.
Lemy said that Britain “would work more in the coming weeks” If “there was no indication of a change in behavior with the Israeli government as to how it is prosecuting this war”.
He said that it would not be “appropriate” to expand that the UK government considered and repeated its call for the “permanent ceasefire”.
He said, “I am sorry that the international community is not able to end this war till now,” he said, the UK “unilaterally can’t work” to do “to do so” and “had to work in partnership with our colleagues”.
Health Secretary Wes Streeting “called for the recognition of the state of Palestine, while still left to identify a position of Palestine”.
He told the MPs that Israeli attacks on healthcare workers and citizens are “trying to use aid” go beyond legitimate self -defense and weaken the possibilities for peace “.
The daily reports of the Palestinians being killed while waiting for the meal are near as Israel has partially reduced the 11 -week total blockade on aid delivery to Gaza and with the US, helped install a new aid system operating by Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which helped to bypass the existing one.
Israel has stated that this system, which uses American private security contractors to hand over food parcels from sites inside the Israeli military areas, prevents the theft to Hamas from stealing supply.
But the United Nations and its partners have refused to cooperate with it, calling it unsafe and violation of human principles of impartiality, neutrality and freedom.
Israel launched a war in Gaza on 7 October 2023 in response to a Hamas -led attack on Southern Israel, killing around 1,200 people and 251 others were taken hostage.
According to the Health Ministry of the region, more than 59,000 people have been killed in Gaza since then.
Most of the Gaza population has been displaced several times, and more than 90% of homes are estimated to be damaged or destroyed. Healthcare, water, hygiene and hygiene systems have collapsed, and lack of food, fuel, medicine and shelter.
