According to several sources, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino was angered this week this week during a closed-door White House meeting regarding the review of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking case files.
According to two sources of DOJ leadership, Bongino raised his voice during a discussion with the White House Chief of Staff Susie Wils before being out of the meeting. Another source said that Bongino also exchanged warm words with Attorney General Palm Bandy during the meeting, and the entire ordinance inspired him to consider resigning from the FBI.
With the knowledge of the meeting, another person disputed the characterization that Bongino shouted at Wils or Bondi during CITDown.
However, the person agreed that Bongino was “angry”. The source said the Deputy Director Epstein Memo was angry about the rollout and saw Bondi’s “lack of transparency” from the beginning. Memo, a joint product of DOJ and FBI, said that both agencies had no more information to share with the public about Epstein’s case, a revelation that provoked the anger between the Maga base. Memo first appeared in Exios over the weekend, and then DOJ and FBI published it on Monday.

Asked about the claim that Bongino shouted at Wills, an official of the White House said it is “100% wrong.” Wils is an experienced in Florida politics who led Trump’s campaign, and the President described him as “universally praised”.
The DOJ and FBI led the fracture memo led to the public on Friday.

Bongino, a former secret service agent without any former FBI experience, hosted a popular podcast before tapping him in the role of number 2 in the bureau. In his show, Bongino repeatedly raised Epstein’s “client list,” alarm, “One reason they are hiding it” and its release “will” rock the political world. “
But in a memorandum released on Monday, the FBI and DOJ said that they have not revealed any such list.
Bongino, Bandi and Patel are all facing a shock on Epstein files from a group of their supporters, which say they repeatedly worked again and again to open the curtain on the details of Epstein’s case.
Epstein, a financier, who was known to join with rich, famous figures, was charged in the allegations in 2019, recruiting dozens of women, including minors at the age of 14, including minors, and sexual relations with or sexually abused. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanches said in a statement on X that DOJ and FBI leadership including Bongino were in lockstap during compilation and release of memo. Blanche said that there was a “day light” between the FBI and the DOJ, “Blanche said.”
Sources said Bongino was not at work on Friday as he was very upset with the fall from Epstein Memo. One said that Bongino had not estimated backlash from his supporters.
