Firefighting Western Midlands are working with a “significant” explosion in a factory with 20 ton tires.
More than 70 firefighters are called at around 10:40 BST after fire service, between Tipton and West Bromwich on the Great Bridge Street.
West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) said with several expert resources, seventeen fire engines have been sent to the site. There have been no casualties.
The fire has sent a thick pile of smoke to the air with the members of the public, which has been warned to stay away from the area.
A social media user posted on X that it can be seen from a distance as a biluston about four miles away.
WMFS stated that the fire included a single-story unit measuring 100 meters to 100 meters.
Good progress was being made to deal with the fire, Seva said, which is being supported by the police and ambulance service.
Firefighting was working to prevent further fire spread and incorporating the blast.
A statement stated in the fire service that the completion of the campus took place, and there were no casualties.
A drone team was on the site with a hydraulic aerial platform and high-volume pump team.
This thanked the local residents and businesses for their patience, while the crew worked to bring the fire under control.
They were advised to keep doors and windows closed due to large versions of smoke in the area.
Representatives of Representatives National Grid, Sever Trent, Environment Agency and Sandwell Council were also on the spot.
