A former conservative MP is awaiting more than two years for testing following allegations of betting offenses.
The 40 -year -old Craig Williams, who was Tory MPs for Montgomerishire and Cardiff North, appeared in Southwark Crown in London on Friday after examining the alleged stakes at the 2024 election date, but did not indicate a petition.
Welshpool, Mr. Williams of Lallanfare Kerenian at Welshpool, was also the parliamentary private secretary of Rishi Sunak during his time as Prime Minister.

Mr. Williams was first selected as an MP for Cardiff North between 2015 and 2017, before he lost his seat.
He was then elected an MP for Montgomerishire in the 2019 general election, and lost his seat in July last year.
The heart of the court, which was called before the general election, was planned at Downing Street and Orthodox Campaign Headquarters.
15 defendants are alleged that they have placed bets based on confidential information obtained from those rooms, or others have been able to pass that information and place bets.
Twelve others, including Russell GeorgeA former conservative and now an independent member of Welsh Send, indicated that they would deny the allegations.
Due to a large number of defendants, there will be two tests, the first on 6 September 2027, and the second on 3 January 2028.
Mr. Williams will be in the test of 2028.
After “Operation Scott”, the allegations were initiated to investigate gambling by conservative party politicians and employees under the leadership of the 2024 general election.
Mr. Sunak, who provided a witness statement in this case, had noted that the election would be in the second half of the year, but he did not give the date.
After the gambling commission prosecuted, Sam Stein KC said that a previous hearing started the operation to check those people “with the benefits of” confidential or internal information “about the 2024 general election date.
“The prosecution says that betting inside the information is a criminal offense, ie cheating,” he said.
