Dallas Cowboy is mourning the loss of one of the famous defensive players of the franchise. In 1971, Star Lineback Lee Roy Jordan, to be played in the first super bowled team of Cowboy, died at the age of 84.
Cowboy announced Jordan’s death on Saturday, but did not give details about the time of death or the cause.
Jordan played the late Paul “Bear” Bryant during his standout career in Alabama. Dallas chose him in the first round of the 1963 NFL draft.

The Jordan was a major part of the team’s “Doomsed Defense”, which took Cowboy to a super bow title in a 24–3 victory over Miami Dolphin during the 1971 season. He retired from NFL in 1976. Cowboy won its second championship the following year.
Five -time Pro bowler, Jordan was the first player to be included in the team’s ring of honor under Jerry Jones ownership.
Jordan is second in the team’s all-time tack list with 1,236. Darren Woodson, a security on Dallas teams, who won three super bowls in the 1990s, is 1,350 in Darren Woodson.

The team said, “With fearless tendency, leadership and tireless work morality, Jordan was an incarnation of cowboy’s spirit,” the team said. “Away from the field, his commitment to his community was the focal point of his life after retiring in 1976.”

Cowboy was known as “next year’s Champions” after the loss of “Ice Bowl”, famous for Green Bay Packers in 1967, when Packers went to win their second consecutive title in Super Bowl II. Three years later, Dallas lost to Baltimore Colts at the target of the last two region in Super Bowl.
A year later, a year later, with a linebacker group led by Jordan and Chak Holly, the defensive tackle came up with Bob Lily, whose 29-yard sack of Bob Gris had a signed drama in the super bowl win.

Jordan was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1983.
