The retailer of the fashion accessory chain Claire said that the retailer said it would appoint administrators in the UK and Ireland, with 2,150 jobs at risk.
The company has 278 stores in the UK and 28 in Ireland, but is struggling with falling sales and fierce competition.
All shops will continue trading while administrators in the interpath, once appointed, will “assess options for the company”.
Interpath’s CEO Will Wright, the Chief Executive Officer, stated that options include “discovering the possibility of sales that will protect the future for this well -loving brand”.

The firm works under two brand names, Claire and Iceing, and is owned by a group of firms, including the legendary investment company Elliot Management.
Similar to its UK bankruptcy, the firm said that all its American shops remain open until an alternative future is found.
