This is still happening on the entire internet. You name-brand accessories, a new smartwatch, fancy cookware, perhaps some designer jeans, and you click.
Everything looks real. Logos, layouts, even Apple and Google are options. But this is a scam, and now your credit card information is out of there.

Silent push Analysts highlighted thousands of fake websites presenting as reliable stores such as Apple, Michael Course, Harbor Freight, REI, Omaha Stake and more. There is a large -scale global scam operation that uses real payment methods on fake checkout pages. Like large scale on thousands of sites.

Twist? Criminals located in China, their payments and ghosts take you. No product. No return. No customer service. Total fake-outside.

They cloned the sites
They are copying everything. Logo, layout, even checkout process, so that you swear on the real REI website when buying $ 10 trail shoes.
But there were some sites with mismatched logo and products. A Harbor Freight Clon showed Wrangler Jeans.

Worse than this: These scam sites are rapidly popping, which can take them down compared to hosting companies. Many are still there.

Do not fall for
- Read more. Wrong words, funny domain names such as “nordstromltems.com” (this is an L, not I) or random products are huge red flags.
- Use a virtual card or credit card. No debit card. You need that fraud protection.
- Stick to real URL. Sketch advertisement. Always type the url in itself.
- If the deal sounds great, it is probably a scam. Duration.
