On his shared birthday, each of Jayden Perkins and Cameran Miles will have candle-lit cupcakes, while friends and family sang them.
Born on May 28, in addition to six years, brothers were tied with more than just one date.
Jayden, elder brother, will trick-or-treat with Kamran on Halloween, and taught him how to write his name. For Kamran, Jayden was his hero.
But that tradition of shared candles and shared memories came to a terrible end last year when Jayden, at just 11 years old, was killed inside his house-killed a violent ex-boyfriend while trying to protect his mother, Letria Smith. Five -year -old Kamran saw the entire attack.
