Some Chicago dwellers did a special delivery for the first American Pope: Oralio’s pizza.
The Pope Leo XIV, who grew up south of Chicago and in the south suburbs, was greeting a sea of Wafadar at St. Peter Square on Wednesday morning for a Jubilee youth program, when he saw a hint in the crowd. It said, “We have Oralo’s pizza!”
Pontif bent and grabbed the box, helping himself the taste of the house. The Chicago dwellers said that they had swapped a pizza in the US before going to Rome.
The owner of the Oralo said that it was a blessing to see his pizza in the Vatican, and he would like to travel the Pope.
