Chatgpt Enterprise is likely to be more popular within the federal government as it is being practically being offered free.
Behind the chatgipt, AI’s giant Openi has announced that it is going to offer a chatgate enterprise to the entire federal executive branch of the US for only $ 1 per agency, which is essentially no cost. The company said in its announcement that American federal agencies will be able to use the company’s frontier model through Chatgpt Enterprise, and are gaining access to its voice mode for 60 days.
The company said that this is in line with the AI action plan of the Trump administration, which requested that powerful AI equipment be made available to the federal government so that employees in these agencies spend less time on worldly work.
Openai said in the announcement, “Helping the government to do better – making services faster, easy and more reliable – is an important way to bring AI’s benefits to all.”
How does this benefit us the federal government employees
Openai has also explained how such an initiative can benefit American servants. The company claims that in a recent pilot program, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania employees who used chat saved an average of about 95 minutes per day on regular tasks. Similarly, in another example, it has been said that in Northern Carolina, 85% of the participants in the 12-week pilot program with the state treasurer department reported a positive experience with Chatgpt.
Regarding focusing its focus on security, the company says that security is necessary and protecting sensitive information is clearly important. The company said that the Chatgpt Enterprise does not already use commercial data including input or output to train the Openai model, and will apply for the use of the federal government in the US as well. In addition, Openai says that GSA has officially issued an authority to use (Attu) for the Chatgpt enterprise.
