Pop star Charlie XCX confirmed his marriage to the 1975 band drummer George Daniel, after a video after a passer -by speculating a wedding online.
The pair were seen on the stairs of Haikni Town Hall on Saturday afternoon – on the stairs of ‘Brat’ Idol in Daniel and White.
A singer’s Ticketkok Post confirmed Nuphals several hours later, with 7M views and thousands of congratulatory comments for “Sri and Mrs. XCX”.
Charlie XCX’s album, Brat, became a global cultural event on release last year. Filling social media feeds with viral videos and receives significant appreciation, its success saw her a headline slot in Glstonbury in June.
The singer confirmed the news wearing an off-the-shielder white dress and his signature dark rapraound sunglasses.
She went away from the camera – pretending to be angry – on a video below the text, which wrote, “When George is not crying when he sees me walking down from the corridor.”
But “fortunately they did XX Kiya”, the caption was together.
A later post, which included Daniel’s shots wearing Charlie veil, gave “bridal party energy” according to XCX.
Footage outside the hakney town hall suggests that the couple had an intimate ceremony.
Both have been public about their relationship for many years and shared the engagement photos in 2023.
They have worked together several times, first named Daniel as co-producers and co-author of two songs, cooperating on Charlie’s lyrics and then on Brat.
He also participated in the viral “Apple Dance” in one of Charlie’s London show, appearing on the screen of the concert in front of thousands of fans.
His band the 1975 is put in front by singer Matty Hei and he is well known for his song chocolate. Daniel has released several tracks as a single artist in recent years.
