California Highway Patrol said that a bus landed an LA county highway on railway tracks and injured passengers overturned on Wednesday morning.
The officials responded to the scene by CHP Antelope Valley Unit.
“Initial investigation shows that the bus … still extended to the right side” and away from the highway on the tracks.
Then the bus overturned and “a stopped on its side,” the CHP said.
It cited the US medical response (AMR) personnel, saying that some 20-40 passengers suffered injuries from minor to major.
It was not known whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident, the CHP said.
