Encourage, Alaska – On Tuesday afternoon, a brown bear attacked a woman on a popular footpath in Chugch Mountains of Alaska and the authorities are still looking for it, the state police said.
Encourage police spokesman Christopher Baraza said that Alaska State Trupers used a helicopter to use a helicopter to move away from the Basher trail in a hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, he said.
Baraja said that the woman has not been identified, called 911 and told the dispatcher that she was about 2 miles by a bear, Baraja said. She told the officials that she could not walk.

For about an hour, the woman spoke with the authorities over the phone, told them that the area she was in, because she used the drone to try to find her, Baraja said.
“When the bear beat him, he said that it ran away and he was unable to see in which direction it went.”
He said that the Alaska Department of Fish and Game blocked the area and was looking for a bear.
“We are advising everyone to ensure that they are ready when they go to hikes and trails,” Baraza said. “Make sure you know that when you see a bear, take your bear spray, this kind of accessories.”
The Encourage Fire Department wrote in a post on Facebook that the hikers should temporarily avoid trails around the Stakgain Heights area.
