Another impressive feature of the operation of BP is that many of their players come from Stockholm or surrounding areas – such as GayoCace, Kulusvski and Burgwell.
Burgland says: “I think it’s really important that you try to do everything in Stockholm, before you try to see different cities.”
Nathorest Windhal explains: “We have history in Stockholm that bromposarna has always been the number one in talent and scouting, it is one of our major successes.
“Every player knows other players who have gone here and have gone to become professionals, they have always talked about the time in bromposarna that they meet at the time where they are today.
“It’s like religion. If you feel that we can help you give you a good chance to become a professional player, then you have to trust us, trust us, we have to follow.
“It is rare that we bring players from different cities to Sweden, so when I brought Barcelona players, we brought a player, which was 15 minutes away from the bus.”
BP has enjoyed great success against big European teams like Paris St.-Germen and Ajax in its younger age groups, but Nathorest Windhal says it may be difficult to compete beyond the age of 15.
For example, Kulususki left Bromposacarna at 15 to join Atalanta’s academy before going to Juventus two years later and then in January 2022.
Nathorest Vindhal gave up for big things as a young man, 25 -year -old has won an award for the best player of the country, in two of the last three years, the Guldabolol of Sweden. Gyoekeres took the award in 2024.
Meanwhile, Burgwell came through the rank of BP, which helped him win promotion in the top flight before going to Swedish champion Zurgendon. He joined the spurs at the age of 18 in the last summer.
“Lucas is the right central midfielder. I think he can play in any club in the world. There is no problem,” says Nathorest Windhal.
“I think he is a Swedish player who should be on his walls for small boys from Sweden and Scandinavia, as he is going to be the best.
“When you are a young boy, you like the goalkeeper because you are a goalkeeper or perhaps with the top scorer, or the best haircut.
“But if you look at Lucas, he looks like a model. He can run, he can shoot, he can pass and drink.
“We are happy that we have helped him from the age of six to 17, then he is today.
“I do not like the word talent, but the day he was born was a talent.”
