News agency PTI said that a 31 -year -old class -2 Maharashtra government official has accused her husband of secretly filming her husband by installing spying cameras in her bedroom and bathroom. The woman working in the state department also alleged that she was physically and mentally disturbed on the demand for dowry.According to the complaint, her husband also pressured a government employee to bring Rs 1.5 lakh to pay the car loan installments from his parents’ house. “When he refused to bring the money, he was beaten,” told PTI, “an officer at Ambegaon Police Station told PTI.The woman further alleged that her husband threatened to leak the video online for not meeting her demands. He claimed that his in -laws were also involved in harassing her.Based on her complaint, the police have booked her husband, mother -in -law, three sisters and two of their husbands under section 85 (cruelty by spouses), 115 (2) (for voluntarily hurt), and under other relevant provisions of Bharti Nyana Santita.“The woman was repeatedly subjected to harassment,” the official said, an investigation is going on.
