A man who shot a rival twice in the chest in a drive-by-shooting has been jailed for 18 years and eight months.
Jacob Galagher set fire to Francis Lupton in Bradford in August 2024, in which he convicted his victim in vengeance for the previous attack.
32 -year -old Galagher was jailed for 22 years with his cousin, Joseph Pouch, when both men convicted the crimes of firearms through their trial in Bradford Crown Court.
While sentencing, Judge Jonathan Rose described Galagher as a “violent man” and said that Mr. Lupton only “fortunately,” fortunately, “fortunately,” [avoided] Loss of their lives “.
The court listened to Galagher, in the Crareshi View, Maningham, Bradford, hired a Range Rover in the name of his girlfriend while in jail for an unrelated case.
After his release, he took the vehicle as a passenger, with a pouch to Shri Lupton’s house, where he shot his victim before fleeing the scene.
After leaving Poutch, he again set fire to the Range Rover to gather another relative.
He was later arrested with his girlfriend on A64, near Scarborough, with his passport in a bag.
Both people were on trial on charges of attempt to murder, but convicted for low allegations in four days.
Galagher, who had already accepted the allegation of arson, convicted a gun with the intention of endangering life.

The judge said that Mr. Lampton “to avoid serious and adequate injuries, completely fortunately, loss of his life”.
He said that while Galagher thought that Mr. Lampton had responsible for shooting him years ago, he was not in a position to say whether it was correct or not.
The court heard that Mr. Lampton was rushed to the hospital after shooting, but was discharged two days later and refused to assist in the police investigation.
‘Life is ruined’
Galagher was told that he would serve an additional five years on the license after his release.
Putting Poutch for two years and eight months in jail, the judge said that when he was responsible for his own actions, he would not join, it was not for the influence of Galagher.
He told that Galagher “ruined” his cousin “ruined”, saying: “You are responsible for the loss of moving him forward.”
