A boat collided with a whale from the banks of Jersey on Saturday afternoon, killing a 20 -foot -long animal and a passenger was thrown overboard.

The sea mammal stranding center stated that it was first alerted about the whale at around 2:45 pm on Saturday. Animal Rescue Service said that it received a call from the New Jersey State Police stating that the mammal was seen near Barnegat Bay’s Inlet.
