Two “bright and deeply loving” have been paid tribute to brothers and sisters, who died after drowning from the east coast of Spain.
Amiya and Ricardo Junior del Broco, 13 and 11, were drawn by water on Larga Beach of Salau on Tuesday evening.
The pair of Birmingham was on leave with their mother and father, later being saved by emergency services after trying to save their children.
A gofundme page on Friday raised more than £ 30,000 to cover the cost of bringing back their bodies by relatives.
The page raising money established by cousin Holi Marquis-Johnson said that nothing could have prepared the parents of their “heartbreak” to lose two children.
The pair was affectionately nicknamed as Maya and Jub.
“Maya was growing intelligent, thoughtful and a strong, young woman,” wrote by Ms. Markwis-Johnson.
“Ricardo Junior was playful, kind and always smiled. He brought a lot of love, laughter and energy to the lives of all the people around him.
“His absence not only for his parents but also for his entire family, which were incredibly close and shared an unbreakable bond.
The children’s aunt, Kayla Jaswinder Dale-Broco, told the BBC that the “heavy” support from the public had taken him into tears.
“The family will always be grateful to shared blessings,” he said.
Polyt Hamilton MP, who represents Eradington, where from the family, said all the residents of the region “felt the tragic loss”.
Hamilton said, “I was shocked and sad to hear the terrible news about Ricardo and Amia.”
“My deep thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
“If the family wants anything, please reach me and I will do as much as I can as the local MP.”
Spanish officials said that the lifeguard had abolished their innings on the beach until the emergency call was received at around 21:00 cest.
Police chief Jose Louis Gargelo said that the officials would “review everything” and take steps to stop any similar events of the future.
A spokesman for the foreign office said: “We are supporting the family of two British children who are killed in Spain and are in touch with local authorities.”
