According to the former President Bill Clinton Committee Chairman Rape James Comer, the House Oversight Committee investigations are “prominent suspects”, who are looking into the sex trafficking case of the late finance Jeffrey Epstein.
“Everyone in the US wants to know what happened in Epstein Islands, and we all heard the news that Bill Clinton was a constant visiting there,” a Republican said in a Monday interview with Newsmax.
Fox News reached the Digital Commerce’s office and gained confirmation of his comments at the outlet.
The House Oversite Committee released a large batch of statement for those with Epstein August 5.

The Democrats joined the Republican in the voting to proceed to release the subponus. The committee requested that Hillary Clinton appears on 9 October, and Bill Clinton on 14 October.
“So, hopefully we will win the battle of that court with that sub -and will look at President Clinton in October,” the Commerce told Newsmax.
Clinton has said that he has never visited Epstein’s island. Clinton wrote in his 2024 memoir “Citizen” that he had never visited the island and wanted him to never meet Epstein before.
A spokesperson of Clinton did not immediately respond to the request of the comment from Fox News Digital.
Meanwhile, the case has attracted additional attention after the Department of Justice and the FBI announced in July that agencies will not release new documents from Epstein Sex Trafficking Case and their review in Epstein stopped.

The agencies said at the time that they did not track a list of sexual predators with Epstein’s connection, and determined that there were no new people who would face allegations.
But this is over obstacles with the efforts of the Oversite Committee, which has also issued a safety for the documents of all the justice department related to Epstein. The committee also issued subponus among others to former FBI director James Comi, former Attorney General Eric Holder, Jeff Sessions and Merric Garland.
The Department of Justice faced Tuesday’s deadline to submit documents related to Epstein, Fox News Digital had earlier reported.

While the Cummer admitted that it would actually prove to be challenging to achieve the former President to testify before the Congress, he remained optimistic about obstacles – looking at his track record.
“I never lost a sabpona fight,” the Commerce said on Monday. “I have been the chairman of the committee for a year and a half – this is the most challenging sabpona that I have ever released, but whatever makes this sabpona different is that Democrats have voted with Republican.”
