Washington – Former President Joe Biden’s White House doctors appeared before the House Overcite Committee on Wednesday for a shutdown testimony and refused to answer questions as the GOP-led panel enhanced its investigation into Biden’s age and health.
The committee Kevin O’Coner has demanded testimony as new reporting has emerged earlier this year about the return of Biden from the race for the 2024 presidential race earlier this year. Meanwhile, President Trump ordered an inquiry last month that “some persons conspired to cheat the public about the mental state of Biden and use the President’s officials and responsibilities unconstitutionally.”
O’Coner’s lawyers, David Shirtler and Mark McDogal said that he refused to answer the questions of MPs on the basis of their rights under doctor’s privilege and fifth amendment.
In a statement by the House Oversite Committee on Wednesday, the lawyers said that “the totality of the circumstances around this committee leaves no alternative to Dr. O’Coner, but to reject the questions to reject the questions,” emphasizing that the fifth modification privilege “does not mean that Dr. O’Coner has committed a crime.”

In a separate statement, the lawyers cited Mr. Trump’s decision to plead the fifth during the 2022 statement before the New York Attorney General.
On Wednesday, James Cummer, Chairman of the attendance committee committee, came before the panel, after Kentki Republican, sent a letter to O’Coner last month. Forces their testimonyThe Commerce underlined that the committee was “seeking details about your evaluation and relationship with former President Biden.” The letter cited a memorandum written by O’Coner Last year After Biden’s physician, in which he described the then President as “a healthy, active, strong 81 -year -old man, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidential.”
Comer on Wednesday participated against the O’Coner’s decision to confirm the fifth amendment, called it “unprecedented”.
“I think it was a cover-up that adds more fuel to the fire,” the Commerce told reporters. “This is something that I think is concerned about every American. I think every American wants to know the truth.”
Kentaki Republican promised to move forward with investigation, stating that many other witnesses would testify before the committee.
“Most people invite the fifth when they have criminal liabilities, and this is what will appear here on the surface,” the Comer claimed. “We are going to continue moving forward.”
Rape. Jasmine Crocket, a Texas Democrat, a Texas Democrat, defended the O’Coner’s decision to reporters, “The evil DOJ who has decided that he wants to conduct a contemporary inquiry, a doctor’s criminal investigation, I think he did what he would advise to do any good lawyer.”
“I don’t understand why we look back,” the crochet said. “The reality is that when the biden was sitting in the White House, the country was not a rail. The country is still away from rail.”
