Between emergency response, houses were vacated in Ashton Wale

The residents are evacuated from their homes amid a reaction to a major emergency services.

The Avon and the Somerset Police have not confirmed the exact nature of the incident in the Ashton Velle area of Bristol, but several houses have been vacated around the Risdel Road.

A road is closing on the South Liberty Lane and many police vehicles and officers are in the area.

A spokesperson of the Avon Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that the crew is “currently assisting the police -led incident in Bristol’s South Liberty Lane area”.
