West Bengal minister Manas Bhunia is the latest Trinmool Congress leader to dispute the controversy on the Kolkata Law Student Gang-Rap case as a “small incident” allegedly as a “small incident”.

However, the Trinumool Congress has slammed the BJP on the clip that he shared about Manas Bhaunia’s comments, saying that later “full scale’s sight campaign” has been launched.
It said that an excerpt from the Minister of State was taken out of the context “maliciously”, “the Kasba was wrong and transmitted to mislead the audience about the incident”.
Manas Bhaunia also issued an explanation on his comment, which strongly condemned the group’s interview.
“Our party strongly condemns the incident of Kasba. I, Manas Bhaunia, also strongly condemn it. The police have taken prompt action and have taken immediate arrest. Our Chief Minister does not tolerate such incidents. I would like to clarify that my previous comments were not related to the incident. The incident is not related to the incident.
