West Bengal minister Manas Bhunia is the latest Trinmool Congress leader to dispute the controversy on the Kolkata Law Student Gang-Rap case as a “small incident” allegedly as a “small incident”.

BJP’s co-Prakriti Amit Malviya on Tuesday shared a video clip of the alleged statement of State Irrigation Minister Manas Bhunia on X.
Amit Malviya wrote, “As the whole nation is scary in scary cruelty over the untouchable cruelty of the 24-year-old law, TMC leaders are busy normalizing rape to earn a browning points from their political owner-Mamta Banerjee,” Amit Malvia wrote.
He further said that earlier, it was TMC MLA Madan Mitra, who convicted the victim for his fate. Then it was sitting that MP Kalyan Banerjee asked, “What can be done if a friend raped a friend?”
“Now, State Irrigation Minister Manas Bhaunia, another face of this unholy rule, stopped atrocities as a” small event “and urged party workers to ignore it and move forward – to draw strength with Mamta Banerjee’s silence and silence approval,” the BJP leader said.

Prime accused Monjan Mishra, who was arrested in a collective-interview of a 24-year-old student, is an alumnus of Law College and was associated with Mamata Banerjee’s party, Trinumool Chhatra (TMCP) student wing.

In the end Malavia described what he said to Mamata Banerjee’s Bengal and said, “Where the dignity of a woman is worth spending, until the rapist chases the right political slogan.”

However, the Trinumool Congress has slammed the BJP on the clip that he shared about Manas Bhaunia’s comments, saying that later “full scale’s sight campaign” has been launched.
It said that an excerpt from the Minister of State was taken out of the context “maliciously”, “the Kasba was wrong and transmitted to mislead the audience about the incident”.
Manas Bhaunia also issued an explanation on his comment, which strongly condemned the group’s interview.
“Our party strongly condemns the incident of Kasba. I, Manas Bhaunia, also strongly condemn it. The police have taken prompt action and have taken immediate arrest. Our Chief Minister does not tolerate such incidents. I would like to clarify that my previous comments were not related to the incident. The incident is not related to the incident. The party led by Mamta Banerjee said that the BJP should know that defamation comes with results. “No matter how loud the lie, the truth will be strong,” said this.
