Electronic Arts (EA) has announced important details for the upcoming release of Batalfield 6 to set the platform for one of the most anticipated video game launch of the year. The company revealed the open beta schedule and core features of the game during a livestream on its official YouTube channel. Batalfield 6 has been slated for release on October 10, 2025, and it is PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series S | X will be available on the platform. Prior to the official launch, EA plans to host two open beta events in August, giving the players an early chance to experience the multiplayer mode of the game.
Batalfield 6: Class System and Multiplayer Mode
Batalfield makes a comeback to some of the classic gameplay mode of the 6 series. The game will bring back the traditional class system, which was missing in its predecessor, Batalfield 2042. The players will be able to select from four different classes: Assault, Ricon, Support and Engineer. Specific gadgets, signature weapons, and training in each category that support various play styles.

Batalfield 6 will include popular modes like victory, success and Rush in multiplayer experience. This team also offers fast book modes such as Destagech and Squad Dethasthach. A new mode called escape challenges teams to capture and control strategic points on a map, which adds a new strategic layer to the gameplay.
New gameplay features and maps
Batalfield 6 introduces strategic destruction facility, which allows players to demolish parts of the environment to change the battlefield. Players can blow walls and buildings to use debris for creating new avenues or cover. The game also improves character movement and gunplay with a kinestatic combat system.

The game will also include nine multiplayer maps set in various global locations, including the siege of Cairo, Empire State and Manhattan Bridge. The new gameplay mechanics involves a drag and revive option to assist the teammates and the ability to mount weapons on surfaces for stable firing.
System requirements, price and version
For players preparing their system, Battalfield 6 requires at least one Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Rvenne 5 2600 processor, 16 GB RAM, and a graphics card, which is equal to NVDia RTX 2060 or AMD REX 5600 XT. The game requires 75 GB storage and runs on Windows 10 (64-bit) with DirectX 12. The minimum performance target is 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second at low settings.

Batalfield 6 will be available in two versions: standard version, priced in the US $ 69.99 and Rs. 3,999 in India, and Phantom Edition, $ 99.99 in the US and Rs. 5,999 in India. East-orders are now open on the official website of EA.
