Several traffic restrictions have been imposed in Bengaluru before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit on Sunday. PM Modi will be to inaugurate the yellow line of Namma Metro in Bengaluru and laying the foundation stones of several developmental projects.
About 16 stations have a length of the route of over 19 kilometers 7,160 crore, Namma Metro in Bangalore will spread over 96 km serving a large population in the region, in an official statement of the Prime Minister’s Office.

After this, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of Namma Metro Phase -3 project in Bangalore. worth over 15,610 crore, the length of the project’s route will be more than 44 kilometers and will include about 31 high stations.
Today a series of events during visit to Bengaluru today
1. Three Vande Bharat Express trains will be departed at KSR railway station by PM at around 11 am.
2. PM Modi will then inaugurate the yellow line of Bangalore Metro and will ride the metro from Rashtra Vidyala Road (Ragigudda) till the President City Metro Station.
3. Around 1 o’clock, Prime Minister will inaugurate the foundation of urban connectivity projects in Bangalore and laid. He will also address a public function.
Traffic ban in Bengaluru today
Bangalore Traffic Police has announced traffic sanctions in several areas from 10 am on Sunday. There will be a ban till 2:30 pm.

Vehicles traveling from NIS Road to Electronic City Toll will be diverted with the following routes:
1. Vehicles going to Electronic City via Neelamangala Nice Toll-Magadhi Road Nice Toll-Kangari Nice Toll-Kankpura Nice Toll will be again routed in the banner Bannerghatta Road toll.
2. Motor drivers traveling to electronic city will have to take Bannerghatta Road Route – Nice Road Junction – Sharewood Junction – Coliform Gate Junction Bannerghatta Village – Jigani to Hosur Road / Electronic City.
3. To reach Chandpura-Atibel-Hosur Road, the motor driver will have to take a left turn near Dabaspet by following the Doddbalapura-Devanhalli-Sulibel-Hoskot route.
